PlumbersA plumber can undertake a wide variety of projects and provide a wide range of services and not just for fixing leaking pipes for example some services include boiler repairs, central heating repairs, leaking appliances like washing machines and dishwashers. Plumbers also have to work with other tradesmen on larger projects like bathroom installation and kitchen planning.
Plumbers have to be CORGI registered (or Gas Safe registered) to work on gas appliances and fitting for example a gas boiler or gas fireplace. It is illegal for a plumber to carry out work that involves working with Gas unless they are Gas Safe registered.

We now ask our registered plumbers to let us know if they are Gas Safe registered. Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI as the governing body in April 2010.
